As one of the friendly cooperative organizations of the Japan Research Center of Shanghai Jiaotong University, the Japan Business Law Association is a Japanese legal industry organization composed of more than 1200 representatives of the legal departments of major local enterprises. The Japan Business Law Association has maintained a long-term friendly cooperative relationship with Kaiyuan Law School of Shanghai Jiaotong University in the past ten years. In addition, the first "Sino Japanese Enterprise Legal Forum" jointly proposed by the Japan Business Law Friends Association and the Law School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University will be held in Tokyo on September 3, 2018. This "China Japan Legal Forum" is the first large-scale exchange forum held by the "Friends of Business Law" with specific countries. The holding of this forum will provide intellectual support and a solid cooperation network for major issues such as strengthening enterprise exchanges between China and Japan, China Japan cooperation in supporting the "Belt and Road" strategy, and Chinese enterprises' "going global" risk management and control.
At the 45th anniversary of the normalization of China Japan diplomatic relations and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the peace and friendship treaty, the Japan Research Center will further carry out cooperation with the Japan Friends of Business Law Association, create a friendly cooperation atmosphere, and make practical contributions to the improvement of economic cooperation and relations between the two countries with enterprise exchanges as the starting point.
