Onthe morning of December 13, Tanaka Toshikazu, founder and CEO of TakumiInnovators (Shanghai) Accelerator Management Co., Ltd., and Li Jiaqi, seniorconsultant of Innovation Acceleration Division, visited the Center for JapaneseStudies of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (“the Center”). Ji Weidong, UniversityProfessor of Humanity and Social Sciences and Director of the Center, Xu Yue, GeneralManager of Administrative Office, and Li Yiqiao, Director of Foreign Affairs of the Administrative Office, attended thereception and meeting.
DirectorJi Weidong welcomed the visit of the delegation of Takumi Innovators (Shanghai)Accelerator Management Co., Ltd. and introduced the recent situation of theCenter, including the sub-forum on "Sustainable Development and RiskManagement in the age of AIGC" at the second conference of Global EconomicDevelopment and Security Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, the fifth China-JapanCorporate Legal Forum and other large-scale international conferences, and theresearchers of the Center also attended the 2023 China-Japan Youth LeadersExchange Program Annual Conference, the "Asia-Pacific Symposium onArtificial Intelligence Ethics" and other academic activities held byexternal institutions. In the future, the Center would focus on research in thefields of Japan's maritime strategies and laws, China-Japan digital economycooperation, Japan's environmental policies, Japan's medical and healthindustry, China-Japan corporate laws, and Japan's politics and diplomacy.
TanakaToshikazu also introduced the recent efforts of Takumi Innovators (Shanghai) AcceleratorManagement Co., Ltd. to support open innovation in Chinese and Japaneseenterprises. Takumi Innovators had created the Japan Overseas PioneerAcceleration Camp to help high-quality Chinese innovative enterprises explorethe Japanese market, and had held three sessions so far. Takumi Innovatorsundertook a series of activities such as the 2023 Sino-Japanese InnovativeEnterprises Dalian Tour with the theme of "Focusing on Carbon Peaking andCarbon Neutrality, Focusing on Dalian, and Jointly Opening Up New Opportunitiesfor Sino-Japanese Industrial Innovation Cooperation".
TakumiInnovators (Shanghai) Accelerator Management Co., Ltd. participated in thefirst "Innovation and Co-creation" Sino-Japanese EnterpriseInnovation Cooperation Forum, which was co-founded by the Center and theConsulate General of Japan in Shanghai. As a bridge between China and Japan,since its establishment, Takumi Innovators had provided innovation accelerationservices for Chinese and Japanese enterprises by relying on the maker space andvarious high-quality resources of local partners in China.
Subsequently,the two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on the prospects for theintegrated cooperation of industry, academia and research in the future.
